๐ก๏ธ Seasonal Seating: Winter โ Summer
Switching between winter (indoor only) and summer (outdoor added) is easy.
- Log in at gloriafood.com
- Click "Services & opening hours" in the left menu
- Click "Table reservation"
- Click "Settings" to expand it
- Change the "Maximum table amount" number:
โ๏ธ Winter (indoor only): 8 โ family table holds 6-8, two smaller tables hold 4 each (18 seats total)
โ๏ธ Summer (outdoor added): 20 โ outdoor space holds up to 100, but cap single-party online reservations
*Change these numbers to whatever your maximum table amount is
- Click the orange "Next" button to save
โ๏ธ That's it โ one number change! Everything else stays the same.
๐ How reservations work: When someone books a table, you'll get a notification on the phone app. You accept or reject each one based on what tables are available. The system doesn't track individual tables โ you know your space best!
๐ฝ๏ธ Your winter setup: 1 family table (6-8 people) + 2 small tables (4 each) = 18 seats total
โ๏ธ Your summer setup: Outdoor space holds up to 100 โ much more flexibility!
๐ Large parties (8+): The website tells them to call you directly at (570) 994-0084. This way you can coordinate bigger groups personally.
โ๏ธ Editing Menu Items

- Click "Menu Setup" again (it's a sub-menu)
- You'll see all your categories โ click one to expand it

- Click Save
๐ Best photos: Square-ish, at least 400ร400 pixels. Good lighting, close-up of the food!
๐ณ Setting Up Online Payments (Stripe)
To accept credit card payments for online orders, you'll need to connect a Stripe account. Stripe charges 2.9% + 30ยข per transaction โ lower than Square's online rate.
Step 1: Create a Stripe Account
- Go to stripe.com/register and create a free account
- Follow the steps to verify your identity and connect your bank account
- Once verified, go to your Stripe API Keys page
- You'll see two keys โ copy them both:
Publishable key (starts with pk_live_...)
Secret key (starts with sk_live_...)
Step 2: Connect Stripe to Your Ordering System
- Log in to the admin console
- Click "Payments" in the left menu
- Click "Other providers"
- Select "Stripe"
- Paste your Publishable key and Secret key
- Click Save โ you're live!
๐ Keep your Secret key private! Never share it publicly or put it in emails. Treat it like a password.
๐ก Already using Square in-store? That's fine โ keep Square for in-person and use Stripe for online orders. They work side by side, no conflicts.
โฐ Changing Hours
- Log in โ "Services & opening hours" โ "Opening Hours"

๐ Google Business Profile (SEO)
Your Google Business Profile is what shows up when people search "Koby's Creekside Grill" or "restaurants near me" on Google and Google Maps. Keeping it updated is the single best thing you can do for local SEO.
How to Access
- Go to business.google.com on your computer
- Sign in with the Google account linked to your business
- Or just Google your restaurant name while signed in โ you'll see an "Edit profile" option right in the search results
Keep These Updated
- Hours: Update whenever your hours change (especially seasonal). Wrong hours = angry customers showing up to a closed restaurant
- Photos: Add new food photos regularly (1-2 per week is ideal). Google prioritizes businesses with fresh photos
- Menu: Add your full menu with prices. Go to your profile โ "Menu" section
- Posts: Share specials, events, or new dishes. Think of it like a mini social media โ Google rewards active businesses
- Description: Make sure it mentions key phrases: "Israeli Mediterranean," "Pocono Mountains," "Bartonsville," "creekside dining"
Reviews (Huge for SEO)
- Respond to EVERY review โ good and bad. Google ranks responsive businesses higher
- For good reviews: thank them personally, mention something specific ("glad you loved the shakshuka!")
- For bad reviews: be professional, apologize, offer to make it right. Never argue publicly
- Ask happy customers to leave reviews โ a simple "If you enjoyed your meal, we'd love a Google review!" goes a long way
- You can create a direct review link: Google your business โ Share โ "Ask for reviews" โ copy that link
Quick Wins
- โ
Add your website URL (we'll update this when the new site goes live)
- โ
Add a reservation link (your GloriaFood booking page)
- โ
Add "Order online" link (your GloriaFood ordering page)
- โ
Make sure your address, phone, and category ("Mediterranean Restaurant") are correct
- โ
Add attributes: outdoor seating, BYOB, reservations, etc.
๐ก Pro tip: Google Business is free and more powerful than any paid ad for local restaurants. A complete, active profile with good reviews will put you above competitors in "near me" searches every time.
